Swiss made movements

A watchmaking “Manufacture” in the strictest sense of the term, Swiza makes the movements that drive the alarm clocks and carriage clocks by its SWIZA and MATTHEW NORMAN brands.

MATTHEW NORMAN carriage clocks are equipped with stunning visible mechanical movements on which all parts are polished and decorated, apart from those in steel. The most elaborate, as well as the main movement, have an additional mechanism for the chiming, repeater or alarm mechanism, as well as for calendar and moon-phase displays.

Each MATTHEW NORMAN movement is numbered and listed in a special register carrying the name of its maker, the date of production and any other useful information. Moreover, each clock is accompanied by a numbered certificate of quality.

SWIZA clocks are fitted with unique quartz movements for clocks bearing the Swiss made label.  They come with or without an alarm function and may also include displays of the date and the seconds.
