The story of Air-Glaciers started half a century ago with the vision of one man, a true pioneer-Bruno Bagnoud. While on a tourguide training mission in the region of the Trient glacier, one of the participants broke his leg and help was called for. No other man, than famous Hermann Geiger, flew the rescue mission with a Bell 47 helicopter and Air-Glaciers was founded on paper. In 1965 the business started out with one Alouette III helicopter.
